Not every publisher has dropped GAME like a hot, possibly diseased potato; Sony is still loyally on board.
“I can confirm Twisted Metal will be available to purchase in GAME this Friday,” a Sony representative told Eurogamer.
Sony seems resolute in its support of the ailing company. Although the retailer’s woes were apparent several weeks ago, Sony went ahead with a GAME collaboration for Vita’s midnight launch.
Twisted Metal is one of the biggest releases of the coming week, but we’re also expecting a couple of games from Konami, Rising Star and Sega, none of whom have made a statement on the matter.
Namco Bandai’s Saint Seiya Sanctuary Battle is due on Friday, but the publisher did not give a firm comment, saying only:
“We continue to find ways of supporting Game and Gamestation.”
The heaviest release over the coming week, FIFA Street, will not appear in either chain; EA dropped support prior to the launch of Mass Effect 3.
